TIP: SCHOOLS SHOULDN'T INVESTIGATE

IF SHINOFF DOES THE INVESTIGATION,

TIMING OF INVESTIGATION

"An employer should begin an
investigation promptly upon notice of a
complaint of discrimination or
harrassment."

Dan Shinoff didn't follow his own advice
in Larkins v. CVESD.  A teacher's

complaint
of harassment was never
investigated, even after Shinoff took
control of the case on Oct. 4, 2001.
